Marc'Antonio Iten studied law at the University of Fribourg and defended his doctoral thesis in 2012 at the University of Lucerne under the supervision of Professor Dr. Paul Eitel with a thesis on "The civil liability of executors of wills" .

He has been active for over 20 years in inheritance and tax planning, generational changes in companies and will execution.

In addition, he has may years of experience working in the world of associations and foundations . Since 2023, he has been chairman of the foundation council of the IDUNA Foundation.
